พลังนั้นเรียกว่า มูลปรกฤติ คือ มายา อันประกอบด้วยตรีคุณ และถูกเข้าใจว่าเป็นสามลักษณะ ภายใต้ความผันกลับแห่งทัศนะเมื่อสัมพันธ์กับพระศิวะ จักรวาลทั้งมวลนี้จึงแผ่ขยายและปรากฏขึ้นโดยนาง
