प्रधानमेकमेवात्र जुहुयादथ वा गुरुः । पूर्वं पूर्णाहुतिं हुत्वा घृतेनाष्टोत्तरं शतम्
pradhānamekamevātra juhuyādatha vā guruḥ | pūrvaṃ pūrṇāhutiṃ hutvā ghṛtenāṣṭottaraṃ śatam
ในพิธีนี้พึงถวาย “ประธานอาหุติ” เพียงครั้งเดียว หรือให้คุรุเป็นผู้กระทำก็ได้ ก่อนอื่นทำ “ปูรณาหุติ” แล้วจึงถวายอาหุติด้วยเนยใส (ฆฤตะ) จำนวนหนึ่งร้อยแปดครั้ง.

Fire-offerings (homa) are an external support for Saguna worship, where offerings and mantra are directed to Lord Shiva’s manifest grace; the Guru’s role ensures the rite aligns with Shaiva injunctions and leads the devotee toward inner realization.
Perform pūrṇāhuti, then offer 108 ghee oblations—ideally with Shiva-mantra (commonly the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—either by the practitioner or under the Guru’s direction.
