It teaches that fulfilment comes through reverently accepting Śiva’s ordinance; divine grace flows when the devotee aligns personal desire with the Lord’s command, and the Lord’s power (śakti) protects and guides.
Though naming Ṣaṇmukha, the verse roots his authority in Śiva’s ājñā, affirming Saguna worship where Śiva’s manifested forms and His divine family act as channels of Śiva’s grace, ultimately leading the devotee back to Pati (Śiva).
A practical takeaway is bhakti with disciplined obedience: begin worship by mentally offering respect to Śiva’s will (ājñā), then pray for what is truly beneficial; recitation of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” can accompany this surrender.
