Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Offering: dhupa
It presents Shiva as the all-pervading Pati whose form is the cosmos itself—space as His body and the luminaries as His eyes—guiding the seeker to recognize that liberation arises from seeing all existence as pervaded and governed by Shiva.
Though Shiva is beyond attributes, the Purana authorizes Saguna contemplation: the devotee may worship the Linga while meditating that the same Shiva pervades the directions, space, and the cosmic lights—uniting temple worship with inner, universal vision.
Practice directional (dik) awareness in japa: while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplate Shiva as space and as the witnessing light (moon, sun, fire), offering mental worship in all directions alongside external Linga-puja.
