pūjayetparamaṃ devaṃ kevalena śivena vā | pādyādimukhavāsāṃtaṃ kṛtvā prasthāpanaṃ vinā

พึงบูชาพระผู้เป็นเจ้าสูงสุด—จะบูชาในฐานะสภาวะสูงสุด หรือบูชาเป็นพระศิวะโดยตรงก็ได้—ถวายอุปจาระตั้งแต่น้ำล้างพระบาท (ปาทยะ) จนถึงมุขวาสะ (เครื่องหอม/ของหอมสำหรับปาก) แต่ไม่พึงทำวิสรรชนะ (การส่งเสด็จ)
