Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: bhruṃ stuṃ bru śruṃ puṃḍraṃ dram (given as bīja-sequence for agni-saṃskāra)
Role: liberating
It emphasizes that outer ritual becomes spiritually effective when performed with precise mantra-sequence and consecrated intention—purifying the practitioner and making the worship fit for Shiva’s grace.
Agni-saṃskāra and bīja-mantras are preparatory rites that sanctify the worship environment; such purification supports Saguna Shiva worship (including Linga-pūjā) by establishing ritual purity and focused mantra-power.
A homa (fire-offering) using a prescribed set of eight bīja-syllables recited in strict order, as part of consecrating the fire before continuing with Shaiva worship.
