svayameva viśīrṇāni na deyāni śivārcane | vāsāṃsi ca mṛdūnyeva tapanīyamayāni ca

Translation

ในการบูชาพระศิวะ ไม่ควรถวายผ้าที่ขาดหรือเก่าคร่ำคร่าอยู่แล้ว ควรถวายแต่ผ้านุ่มเนื้อละเอียด และเครื่องบูชาที่ทำด้วยทองคำบริสุทธิ์เท่านั้น
