पूजास्थानशुद्धिः पात्रशोधनं च — Purification of the Worship-Space and Preparation of Ritual Vessels
पाद्यमाचमनं चार्घ्यं गंधं पुष्पं ततः परम् । धूपं दीपं च तांबूलं दत्त्वाथ स्वापयेच्छिवौ
pādyamācamanaṃ cārghyaṃ gaṃdhaṃ puṣpaṃ tataḥ param | dhūpaṃ dīpaṃ ca tāṃbūlaṃ dattvātha svāpayecchivau
พึงถวายปาทยะ น้ำสำหรับอาจมนะ และอรฆยะ แล้วถวายเครื่องหอมและดอกไม้; ต่อจากนั้นถวายธูป ประทีป และตัมบูละ แล้วจึงให้พระศิวะเข้าสู่พิธีบรรทม (ศยน) ในที่สุด
