ततः शिष्यं समालभ्य जपित्वा कर्णयोः शिवम् । देवस्य दक्षिणे भागे तं शिष्यमधिवासयेत्

tataḥ śiṣyaṃ samālabhya japitvā karṇayoḥ śivam | devasya dakṣiṇe bhāge taṃ śiṣyamadhivāsayet

แล้วอาจารย์พึงเรียกศิษย์เข้ามาใกล้ สวดภาวนามนต์พระศิวะลงในหูทั้งสองของเขา จากนั้นพึงให้ศิษย์นั้นพำนัก ณ เบื้องขวา (ทักษิณ) แห่งองค์เทพเพื่อการบูชาอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์
