शिष्यं शिरसि संताड्य सूत्रं देहे यथाक्रमम् । शांत्यतीतपदे सूत्रं लाञ्छयेन्मंत्रमुच्चरन्

Transliteration

śiṣyaṃ śirasi saṃtāḍya sūtraṃ dehe yathākramam | śāṃtyatītapade sūtraṃ lāñchayenmaṃtramuccaran

Translation

อาจารย์แตะศีรษะศิษย์ แล้วสวมยัชโญปวีตตามลำดับบนกาย เมื่อสวดมนต์ให้ทำเครื่องหมายและยึดด้ายให้มั่น ณ จุดที่เรียกว่า ‘ศานตยตีตะ’ อันหมายถึงการก้าวพ้นพันธนาการด้วยพระกรุณาพระศิวะ
