FAQs

It emphasizes that Shiva-worship becomes spiritually effective when mantra-japa is joined with dhyāna (contemplation of the Lord’s radiant form) and performed with purity and disciplined measures, aligning the devotee (paśu) toward Pati (Shiva) by loosening inner bonds (pāśa).

The instruction to contemplate “radiant forms” and apply a pure white sacred substance points to Saguna upāsanā—worshipping Shiva through tangible supports such as the Liṅga, mantra, and consecrated materials (commonly associated with bhasma and ritual purity).

Repeat each prescribed mantra one hundred times while meditating on Shiva’s luminous form, then perform the offering in a threefold/triple measure, using a purified white sacred substance (commonly understood in Shaiva practice as bhasma-like purity material) prepared under strict purity conditions.
