पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

शक्तिश्च शिवतत्त्वं च तत्त्वानि क्रमशो विदुः । मन्त्रैस्तु विरजैर्हुत्वा होतासौ विरजा भवेत्

śaktiśca śivatattvaṃ ca tattvāni kramaśo viduḥ | mantraistu virajairhutvā hotāsau virajā bhavet

พวกท่านรู้ตัตตวะตามลำดับ—ตั้งแต่ศักติ (Śakti) จนถึงตัตตวะแห่งศิวะ (Śiva-tattva) แต่เมื่อถวายอาหุติด้วยมนตร์วิรชะ (viraja) อันไร้มลทิน ผู้ประกอบยัญก็ย่อมเป็นวิรชะ ปราศจากมลทินแห่งรชัส.
