It teaches that when inner purity and right Shaiva disposition (bhāva-siddhi) mature, the seeker naturally prioritizes dhyāna and jñāna over external karma, and Yoga becomes the living path toward Shiva-realization (Pati).
Linga worship and Saguna Shiva devotion are affirmed as supports for refining bhāva; once that inner state is perfected, the same devotion turns inward as steady meditation on Shiva’s presence, making worship contemplative rather than merely ritualistic.
The takeaway is to stabilize daily Shiva-upāsanā into dhyāna: japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with focused contemplation, using supports like bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa as aids—while not mistaking external karma for the final means.
