Shiva Form: Rudra
Type: stotra
It highlights that Śiva’s grace is accessed through humility (namaskāra), right conduct (yathākrama), and heartfelt devotion (stotra), after which one returns to rightful order and well-being—an outer sign of inner pacification by Rudra’s anugraha.
The acts described—bowing, pradakṣiṇā, and praising with hymns—are classic forms of Saguna Śiva upāsanā, commonly performed around the Śiva-liṅga, expressing reverence to the manifest Lord who bestows boons and restores dharma.
Perform namaskāra to Śiva, do pradakṣiṇā in a calm and orderly manner, and recite Śiva-stotras (or the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as a focused devotional practice seeking Rudra’s grace.
