In the Yuddhakhaṇḍa context, such mustering of demonic power highlights the need for refuge in Saguna Śiva—worship of the Liṅga as the stabilizing center of dharma—when chaos and aggression surge in the world.
The practical takeaway is steadiness in japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and maintaining Śiva-dharma (e.g., Tripuṇḍra/bhasma remembrance), especially when confronted by fear or overwhelming opposition.
