Nārada’s Austerities Described

मेने हितन्न विध्युक्तं नारदो ज्ञानिसत्तमः । शिवमायामोहितश्च रूढचित्तमदांकुरः

mene hitanna vidhyuktaṃ nārado jñānisattamaḥ | śivamāyāmohitaśca rūḍhacittamadāṃkuraḥ

นารทผู้เลิศในหมู่นักปราชญ์กลับเห็นว่าเป็นประโยชน์ในสิ่งที่แท้จริงมิได้บัญญัติไว้ด้วยศาสตราและญาณอันถูกต้อง เพราะถูกมายาแห่งพระศิวะลวงให้หลง หน่อแห่งความทะนงจึงหยั่งรากมั่นในจิตของเขา
