दीक्षितपुत्रस्य दैन्यचिन्ता तथा शिवरात्र्युपासनाप्रसङ्गः / The Initiate’s Son in Distress and the Occasion of Śivarātri Worship

सर्वं निवेदयामासुश्शमनाय गणा मुने । तद्वृत्तमादितः प्रोक्तं शंभुदूतैश्च धर्मतः

sarvaṃ nivedayāmāsuśśamanāya gaṇā mune | tadvṛttamāditaḥ proktaṃ śaṃbhudūtaiśca dharmataḥ

โอ้ ฤๅษี เหล่าคณะคณะ (คณะของพระศิวะ) ได้กราบทูลทุกสิ่งแก่ศมณะ แล้วทูตของพระศัมภูจึงเล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดตั้งแต่ต้นตามครรลองธรรม
