It praises the Shaiva ideal of śīla (noble conduct): a life of chastity, devotion, and selfless virtue that uplifts both spouse and family, making the home a fit ground for bhakti and inner purity.
In the Parvati Khanda, Parvati’s excellence exemplifies Saguna devotion—virtue expressed in lived dharma. Such purity and harmony in household life support steady Shiva-bhakti and reverence to the Linga as the sanctifying center of the home.
Practice daily Shiva-bhakti with purity of conduct—simple Linga worship, japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and maintaining sattvic discipline—so that devotion naturally becomes a source of peace and joy for all.
