Menā’s Counsel to Himālaya; Response to Slander of Śiva
ṛṣayaścaiva te sarve śambhunā saṃsmṛtā yadā | tadā''jagmuḥ svayaṃ sadyaḥ kalpavṛkṣā ivāpare
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It highlights Śiva as Pati (the Lord) whose mere remembrance or will draws the wise to Him instantly, illustrating the speed and certainty of divine grace (anugraha) in Shaiva Siddhanta.
Śambhu’s personal, saguna lordship is emphasized: the devotees and sages respond to His call just as worshippers approach the Liṅga—drawn by devotion and Śiva’s presence rather than by external compulsion.
Practice smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva—especially japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a direct inner invocation aligning the mind with Śiva’s grace and guidance.
