तस्यै परं फलं देयमभीष्टं तद्धितावहम् । एतादृशः पणो मे हि भक्तानन्दप्रदः स्फुटम्
tasyai paraṃ phalaṃ deyamabhīṣṭaṃ taddhitāvaham | etādṛśaḥ paṇo me hi bhaktānandapradaḥ sphuṭam
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: General Siddhānta teaching: Śiva’s anugraha is the decisive factor granting the ‘parama-phala’ (highest fruit) to the devoted.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
It declares Shiva’s anugraha (grace) as a clear vow: when devotion is present, he gives the highest, welfare-producing result—showing that bhakti culminates in Shiva’s benevolent bestowal of the supreme fruit.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Shiva’s personal responsiveness: through faithful worship (including Linga-upasana), the devotee becomes eligible for Shiva’s “abhīṣṭa” boon and the highest fruit granted by his vow of compassion.
A practical takeaway is steady bhakti expressed through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and regular Shiva-puja (especially Linga worship), performed with the intention of inner welfare rather than mere worldly gain.
