Pārvatī’s Vow of Truth and the Dialogue on Her Tapas
ब्राह्मण उवाच । एतावत्कालपर्य्यन्तम्ममेच्छा महती ह्यभूत् । किं वस्तु कांक्षती देवी कुरुते सुमहत्तपः
brāhmaṇa uvāca | etāvatkālaparyyantammamecchā mahatī hyabhūt | kiṃ vastu kāṃkṣatī devī kurute sumahattapaḥ
พราหมณ์กล่าวว่า “จนถึงบัดนี้ ความปรารถนาอันแรงกล้าได้เกิดขึ้นในเรา เทวีทรงปรารถนาสิ่งใดเล่า จึงทรงบำเพ็ญตบะอันยิ่งใหญ่นักเช่นนี้?”
