वसन्त-प्रभावः तथा काम-उद्दीपन-वर्णनम् | Spring’s Influence and the Arousal of Kāma
किं गतिर्वर्ण्यते ह्यस्याः किं रूपं वर्ण्यते मुहुः । पुष्पाणि किं च वर्ण्यंते वस्त्राणि च तथा पुनः
kiṃ gatirvarṇyate hyasyāḥ kiṃ rūpaṃ varṇyate muhuḥ | puṣpāṇi kiṃ ca varṇyaṃte vastrāṇi ca tathā punaḥ
จะพรรณนากิริยาการเดินของนางให้จริงแท้ได้อย่างไร? จะกล่าวถึงรูปโฉมของนางซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าให้เพียงพอได้อย่างไร? แล้วจะพรรณนาดอกไม้ประดับและอาภรณ์ของนางได้อย่างไรเล่า ครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า

The verse teaches that divine Śakti—here Pārvatī—surpasses ordinary language and comparison; devotion (bhakti) approaches her through reverence and contemplation rather than mere aesthetic description.
In Shaiva thought, Śiva is Pati and Pārvatī is Śakti; praising her indescribable beauty supports saguna-upāsanā, where the devotee venerates the divine in approachable form, which culminates in steadiness of mind for worship of Śiva (including Liṅga worship).
A practical takeaway is mānasa-pūjā (mental worship): visualize the Divine Couple with pure mind, offer flowers and garments inwardly, and support it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
