It highlights the immediacy of Śiva’s grace (anugraha): the divine potency does not remain abstract but can swiftly assume form to protect dharma and uplift beings, showing the compassionate, Saguna aspect of Śiva active in the world.
Just as the Liṅga signifies Śiva’s presence accessible to devotees, this verse shows that Śiva’s power can become perceptible and embodied; it supports Saguna worship by affirming that the transcendent Lord also reveals tangible forms for devotion and cosmic purpose.
A practical takeaway is to contemplate Śiva’s anugraha while japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), remembering that divine presence can manifest quickly when approached with devotion and purity.
