श्रीसुब्रह्मण्य उवाच । योगपट्टम्प्रवक्ष्यामि गुरुत्वं येन जायते । तव स्नेहाद्वामदेव महद्गोप्यं विमुक्तिदम्

ศรีสุพรหมัณยะตรัสว่า “เราจักกล่าวถึงโยคะปัฏฏะ อันทำให้บังเกิดภาวะแห่งครู (คุรุภาวะ) โอ วามเทวะ ด้วยความรักต่อท่าน เราจึงเปิดเผยความลับอันยิ่งใหญ่ซึ่งซ่อนเร้นนี้ อันประทานโมกษะ”
