{ "prastava": "(typical) o/ho-i prelude leading into the first pada; may use brief stobha to prepare vaṣaṭ entry", "udgitha": "Main text through ‘…juṣasva śipiviṣṭa havyam’ with elongation on juṣasva", "pratihara": "Responsive segment around ‘vardhantu tvā suṣṭutayo giri me’", "upadrava": "Re-entry and intensification on ‘yūyaṃ pāta svastabhiḥ’", "nidhana": "Final settling on ‘sadā naḥ’ with collective nyāsa", "structure_notes": "Kauthuma practice often distributes semantic ‘hinges’ (juṣasva / vardhantu / pāta) at section boundaries; vaṣaṭ is articulated crisply, not smeared into stobha.", "singer_assignments": "Prastotṛ: prastāva; Udgātṛ: udgītha+upadrava; Pratihartṛ: pratihāra; all three: nidhana." }

{ "gloss_summary": "Vaṣaṭ is the formal vaṣaṭkāra concluding an oblation. ‘Ā kṛṇomi’ indicates performing the offering-act for Viṣṇu’s avāsa (protection). ‘Juṣasva’ requests acceptance; ‘vardhantu’ means praises increase the deity’s manifested power. ‘Yūyam’ can be read as addressing attendant divine protectors/benedictions who guard the sacrificer with svasti.", "ritual_interpretation": "The verse is fitted to moments of offering-consummation: the yajamāna’s act is perfected by vaṣaṭ and by the deity’s acceptance, ensuring auspicious protection for the rite.", "theological_insight": "Stuti is efficacious: correctly formed praise is a means by which divine power becomes more present (prādurbhāva-vṛddhi) in the sacrificial field.", "etymology_highlights": "vaṣaṭ as yajñāṅga-śabda (technical liturgical exclamation); svasti from su+asti (‘good being’); śipiviṣṭa as a traditional epithet explained as immanent luminous presence." }
