सोमः पवते जनिता मतीनां जनिता दिवो जनिता पृथिव्याः । जनिताग्नेर्जनिता सूर्यस्य जनितेन्द्रस्य जनितोत विष्णोः ॥

Transliteration

sómaḥ pavate janitā́ matīnā́ṃ janitā́ divó janitā́ pṛthivyā́ḥ | janitā́gner janitā́ sū́ryasya janiténdrasya janitó uta víṣṇoḥ ||

Translation

โสมะชำระแล้วไหลไป เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งมติ—ความคิดอันดลใจ เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งฟ้า เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งแผ่นดิน; เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งอัคนี เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งสุริยะ; เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งอินทระ และยิ่งกว่านั้น เป็นผู้ให้กำเนิดแห่งวิษณุด้วย.
