Transliteration
ā naḥ soma sáho júvo rū́paṃ na várcase bhara | susvāṇó deva-vītáye ||
Translation
ข้าแต่โสมะ (Soma) จงนำมาสู่เรา ทั้งพลังและแรงเร่งอันรวดเร็ว รูปอันประหนึ่งเพื่อรัศมี; เมื่อกึกก้องกังวาน จงเคลื่อนไปเพื่อการได้มาและการเสวยของเหล่าเทพภายในเรา (devavīti).
