अपो षु ण इयं शरुरादित्या अप दुर्मतिः । अस्मदेत्वजघ्नुषी ॥

apó ṣú ṇa iyáṁ śarúr ādityā́ apa durmatíḥ | asmád etv ájaghnuṣī ||

โอ้เหล่าอาทิตยะ (Āditya) ขอให้ลูกศรอันเป็นศัตรูนี้ถูกขับไล่ไปจากเรา; ขอให้ความคิดอันคดร้ายออกไปจากตัวเรา—นางผู้ทำลายการเคลื่อนไหวอันชอบธรรม.
