ā́ naḥ sóme svadhvará iyā́nó átyo ná tóśate | yáṃ te svadāvánt svádanti gūrtáyaḥ pauré chandayase hávam ||

โอ โสมะเอ๋ย จงมาหาเรา ผู้ดำเนินไปในพิธีบูชาที่จัดวางอย่างถูกต้อง ดุจม้าแข่งที่ยับยั้งมิได้. ถ้อยคำสรรเสริญที่เปล่งอย่างงดงามลิ้มรสความหวานของท่าน; และในความเต็มเปี่ยมแห่งภาวะ ท่านทรงยินยอมต่อคำเรียกของเรา.
