सुनोता सोमपाव्ने सोममिन्द्राय वज्रिणे । पचता पक्तीरवसे कृणुध्वमित्पृणन्नित्पृणते मयः ॥

sunótā somapā́vne sómam índrāya vájriṇe | pácatā paktī́r ávase kṛṇudhvám ít pṛṇánn ít pṛṇaté máyaḥ ||

พวกท่านจงคั้นโสมะ (Soma) เพื่อผู้ดื่มโสมะ—อินทระ (Indra) ผู้ทรงวัชระ. จงหุงปรุงเครื่องบูชาและจัดเตรียมไว้ เพื่อความอุปถัมภ์ของพระองค์; ผู้ทรงทำให้เต็ม ย่อมประทานความรื่นรมย์ (มายัส) แก่ผู้ใคร่จะได้รับความเต็มเปี่ยม.
