विश्वदानीं सुमनसः स्याम पश्येम नु सूर्यमुच्चरन्तम् । तथा करद्वसुपतिर्वसूनां देवाँ ओहानोऽवसागमिष्ठः ॥

viśva-dā́nīṃ su-mánasaḥ syāma páśyema nú sū́ryam uccárantam | tathā́ karad vásu-pátir vásūnāṃ devā́n ohā́no’vasā́gamiṣṭhaḥ ||

ขอให้เรามีจิตใจผ่องใสและเกื้อกูลอยู่ทุกกาล; ขอให้เราได้เห็นสุริยะกำลังขึ้นสูง. ดังนี้ขอวสุปติ (Vasupati) เจ้าแห่งทรัพย์ทั้งหลาย จงบันดาลให้สำเร็จ—ทรงนำเทพทั้งหลายให้มาใกล้ด้วยความอุปถัมภ์—เพื่อให้เราพรั่งพร้อมด้วยความอุดมแท้จริง.
