कृतं चिद्धि ष्मा सनेमि द्वेषोऽग्न इनोषि मर्तात् । इत्था यजमानादृतावः ॥
Transliteration
kṛtáṃ cíd dhi ṣmā́ sáne mi dveṣó’gna inóṣi mártāt | itthā́ yajamānād ṛtāvaḥ ||
Translation
แม้สิ่งที่ถูกก่อรูปเป็นความเป็นศัตรูแล้ว เราก็ยังชนะได้—เพราะท่าน โอ อัคนี (Agni) ขับไล่ความเกลียดชังออกจากปุถุชนผู้ต้องตาย. ดังนี้ท่านจึงคุ้มครองผู้ประกอบยัญ ผู้ดำเนินตามระเบียบแห่งสัจจะ (ṛta).
