मन्दस्व होत्रादनु जोषमन्धसोऽध्वर्यवः स पूर्णां वष्ट्यासिचम् । तस्मा एतं भरत तद्वशो ददिर्होत्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥

Transliteration

mándasva hotrā́d ánu jóṣam ándhaso ’dhvaryavaḥ sá pūrṇā́ṃ vaṣṭy āsícam | tásmā etáṃ bharata tád-vaśo dadír hotrā́t sómaṃ draviṇaḥ-daḥ píba ṛtú-bhiḥ ||

Translation

จงรื่นรมย์ด้วยแก่นสารแห่งโสมะ ตามเสียงเรียกของโหตฤ (Hotṛ); โอ อัธวรยุ (Adhvaryu) ทั้งหลาย เขาปรารถนาถ้วยบูชาที่เต็มเปี่ยมและรินแล้ว จงนำสิ่งนี้ไปให้เขา—นอบน้อมตามพระประสงค์นั้น โอ ผู้ประทานทรัพย์ จงดื่มโสมะจากโหตฤ ตามกาลอันเที่ยงตรง (ฤดู/จังหวะ) แห่งฤตะ (ṛta)
