ये स्तोतृभ्यो गोअग्रामश्वपेशसमग्ने रातिमुपसृजन्ति सूरयः । अस्माञ्च ताँश्च प्र हि नेषि वस्य आ बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥

Transliteration

yé stotṛ́bhyo góagrām áśvapeśasam agne rātím upasṛjánti sūráyaḥ | asmā́ṃś ca tā́ṃś ca prá hí néṣi vásya ā́ bṛhád vadema vidáthe suvī́rāḥ ||

Translation

เหล่าปราชญ์ (sūri) ผู้จัดสรรของทานแก่ผู้สรรเสริญ—อุดมด้วยฝูงโคอันรุ่งเรืองและม้าอันทรงพลัง—โอ อัคนีเอ๋ย; ขอท่านนำทั้งเขาและเราก้าวไปสู่ความเกื้อกูลอันประเสริฐยิ่ง. ขอให้เราได้กล่าวถึงความไพศาล (bṛhat) ในสภา (vidatha) พร้อมด้วยพลังวีรชน.
