चक्षुषः पिता मनसा हि धीरो घृतमेने अजनन्नन्नमाने । यदेदन्ता अददृहन्त पूर्व आदिद्द्यावापृथिवी अप्रथेताम् ॥

Transliteration

cákṣuṣaḥ pitā mánasā hí dhīró ghṛtámene ajanann annamā́ne | yadéd ántā adadṛhanta pū́rva ā́d id dyāvāpṛthivī́ aprathetām ||

Translation

พระองค์คือบิดาแห่งการเห็น; ปราชญ์ผู้มั่นคงนั้น ด้วยใจได้ก่อกำเนิดกระแสอันใสสว่าง (ghṛta) ให้เป็นอาหารแห่งความรู้เรืองรอง ขณะที่ทั้งสองก้มลงนอบน้อม. ครั้นเมื่อขอบเขตแรกเริ่มถูกตั้งมั่นอย่างแน่นหนา เมื่อนั้นฟ้าและแผ่นดินก็แผ่ขยายเป็นที่พำนักอันกว้างใหญ่.
