Sukta 10.78
रथानां न येऽराः सनाभयो जिगीवांसो न शूरा अभिद्यवः । वरेयवो न मर्या घृतप्रुषोऽभिस्वर्तारो अर्कं न सुष्टुभः ॥
rathā́nāṃ na yé’rā́ḥ sa-nā́bhayo jigīvā́ṃso na śū́rā abhi-dyávaḥ | vareyávo na maryā́ ghṛtá-pruṣo’bhi-svartā́ro arkaṃ́ na su-stúbhaḥ ||
ดุจซี่ล้อรถศึกที่ยึดกับดุมอันมั่นคง; ดุจวีรชนผู้ชนะ เขาทั้งหลายเร่งรุกไปข้างหน้า เผชิญหน้าเข้าปะทะ. ดุจหนุ่มผู้ถูกเลือก เขาทั้งหลายหยดพราวด้วยแสงแห่งฆฤตะ (ghṛta) อันใสกระจ่าง พลุ่งขึ้นสู่เบื้องบน; และดุจบทสรรเสริญที่กล่าวอย่างงดงาม เขาทั้งหลายคือถ้อยประกาศอันทรงพลัง.
