इन्द्रस्य वृष्णो वरुणस्य राज्ञ आदित्यानां मरुतां शर्ध उग्रम् । महामनसां भुवनच्यवानां घोषो देवानां जयतामुदस्थात् ॥

índrasya vṛ́ṣṇo váruṇasya rā́jña ādityā́nāṃ marútāṃ śárdha ugrám | mahā́manasāṃ bhuvanacyavānā́ṃ ghóṣo devā́nāṃ jáyatām úd asthāt ||

ของอินทระผู้เป็นพฤษภา ของวรุณะผู้เป็นราชา ของเหล่าอาทิตยะ (Ādityas) ของเหล่ามรุต (Maruts)—กองหมู่ผู้ดุดันนั้น; ของผู้มีจิตใหญ่ ผู้สั่นสะเทือนโลกทั้งหลาย—เสียงโห่ร้องแห่งชัยชนะของทวยเทพได้ผุดพุ่งขึ้นแล้ว.
