अमन्दन्मा मरुतः स्तोमो अत्र यन्मे नरः श्रुत्यं ब्रह्म चक्र । इन्द्राय वृष्णे सुमखाय मह्यं सख्ये सखायस्तन्वे तनूभिः ॥

amándan mā marutaḥ stómó atrá yán me naraḥ śrútyaṁ bráhma cakrá | índrāya vṛ́ṣṇe súmakhāya máhyaṁ sákhye sakhāyas tanvé tanū́bhiḥ ||

มารุตทั้งหลาย (Maruts) ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าปิติยินดี ณ ที่นี้ด้วยบทสวดสรรเสริญ เมื่อเหล่าวีรชนได้รังสรรค์วาจาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ (brahman) อันควรแก่การสดับให้แก่ข้าพเจ้า. เพื่ออินทระ (Indra) ผู้เป็นพฤษภะ (vṛṣan), เพื่อผู้มีพักตร์งาม, และเพื่อข้าพเจ้า—สหายทั้งหลาย ในมิตรภาพ เป็นสหายต่อสหาย ได้มาด้วยกายของตนสู่ความเป็นกายของข้าพเจ้า.
