Sukta 1.115
अद्या देवा उदिता सूर्यस्य निरंहसः पिपृता निरवद्यात् । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥
adyā́ devā́ udítā sū́ryasya nír aṃ́hasaḥ pipṛtā́ nír avadyā́t | tán no mitró váruṇo māmahantām áditiḥ síndhuḥ pṛthivī́ utá dyáuḥ ||
วันนี้ ข้าแต่เทพทั้งหลาย เมื่อสุริยะอุทัยแล้ว ขอท่านทั้งหลายโปรดปลดเราให้พ้นจากความคับแค้น และให้พ้นจากความผิดอันน่าติเตียนเถิด ขอให้มิตรและวรุณะทรงขยายเราให้กว้างใหญ่ ขอให้อทิติ สินธุ(แม่น้ำ) แผ่นดิน และสวรรค์ จงอุปถัมภ์คุ้มครองเรา
