इमा रुद्राय तवसे कपर्दिने क्षयद्वीराय प्र भरामहे मतीः । यथा शमसद्द्विपदे चतुष्पदे विश्वं पुष्टं ग्रामे अस्मिन्ननातुरम् ॥

imā́ rudrā́ya taváse kapardíne kṣayádvīrāya prá bharāmahe matī́ḥ | yáthā śám asad dvipáde cátuṣpade víśvaṃ puṣṭáṃ grā́me asmín anāturám ||

เรานำเครื่องบูชาแห่งความคิดเหล่านี้ออกถวายแด่รุทระ (Rudra) ผู้ทรงเดช ผู้มีมวยผม ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งเคหะอันอุดมด้วยพลังวีรบุรุษ เพื่อให้สันติเป็นแก่ผู้มีสองเท้าและสี่เท้า; เพื่อให้อาหารหล่อเลี้ยงทั้งปวงในชุมชนนี้สมบูรณ์ครบถ้วน ปราศจากความทุกข์ร้อน.
