The Slaying of Indrajit
सुसंरर्ब्धस्तुसौमित्रिरस्त्रंवारुमाददे ।।।।रौद्रंमहेन्द्रजिद्युद्धेऽप्यसृजद्युद्धनिष्ठितः ।
susaṃrabdhas tu saumitrir astraṃ vāruṇam ādade | raudraṃ mahendrajid yuddhe 'py asṛjad yuddhaniṣṭhitaḥ ||
ครั้งนั้นเสามิตรี (พระลักษมณ์) โกรธเกรี้ยวยิ่งนัก จึงหยิบอัสตราของพระวรุณขึ้น; ส่วนอินทรชิต ผู้มั่นคงในศึก ผู้พิชิตมหิทรา ก็ปล่อยศัสตราที่อาบด้วยฤทธิ์พระรุทรออกสู่สนามรบ
