Great self-Hanuman too became furious and dismounting Lakshmana from his back uprooted a sala tree from a mountain and went on exterminating thousands of Rakshasas.
Dharma here is protective courage: Hanumān prioritizes safeguarding Lakṣmaṇa (a righteous warrior incapacitated by circumstances) and then confronts adharma in battle, showing that strength is to be used in defense of the just.
In the midst of the Lanka war, Hanumān carries Lakṣmaṇa; he sets him down safely and then attacks the rākṣasa forces in overwhelming numbers.
Hanumān’s vīrya (valor) joined with bhakti and responsibility—swiftly ensuring Lakṣmaṇa’s safety and then acting decisively against hostile forces.
