मकराक्षवधः

The Slaying of Makarākṣa

तत्तिष्ठद्वसुधांरक्षश्शूलंजग्राहपाणिना ।त्रासनंसर्वभूतानांयुगान्ताग्निसमप्रभम् ।।।।

tat tiṣṭhad vasudhāṃ rakṣaḥ śūlaṃ jagrāha pāṇinā | trāsanaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ yugāntāgnisamaprabham ||

ยักษ์นั้นยืนอยู่บนพื้นพิภพ แล้วคว้าศูล (หอก) ขึ้นด้วยมือ เป็นสิ่งน่าสะพรึงแก่สรรพสัตว์ทั้งหลาย เปล่งประกายดุจไฟกัลปาวสาน
