युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva

सम्पीड्यरसिचास्कन्धम् करेणाभिनिवेश्य च ।।।।किञ्चिदभ्यवनम्यैनमुन्ममाथयथागजः ।

sampīḍyorasi cāskandhaṃ kareṇābhiniveśya ca |

kiñcid abhyavanamyainam unmamātha yathā gajaḥ ||

เขากดลำต้นแนบอกและค้ำไว้ด้วยมือ ทำให้มันเอนลงเล็กน้อย แล้วจึงกระชากถอนขึ้นจากราก—ดุจช้างถอนต้นไม้
