Sonitha adorned with golden armlets taking hold of iron mace rushed behind Angada.
The verse functions descriptively, but it can be read as a reminder that actions invite response: in war, one must be prepared for immediate consequences and remain steady to dharma despite retaliation.
A rākṣasa warrior, Śoṇitākṣa, enters to counter Aṅgada’s advance, pursuing him with an iron mace.
Determination and readiness (from the rākṣasa side): swift pursuit and focused intent are highlighted, showing the intensity of the encounter.
