tasmin sampīḍyamāne tu bhagna-druma-śilā-tale | na śekur vānarāḥ sthātuṃ ghūrṇamānena got­tame ||6.74.39||

ครั้นภูเขาอันประเสริฐนั้นถูกกดบดจนแหลก พื้นผิวเกลื่อนด้วยไม้หักและศิลา เมื่อมันหมุนไหวสั่นสะเทือน เหล่าวานรก็มิอาจยืนทรงตัวอยู่ได้
