विभीषणागमनम्

Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge

इत्युक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंरावणंरावणानुजः ।आजगाममुहूर्तेनयत्ररामस्सलक्ष्मणः ।।6.17.1।।

udyogaṃ tava saṃprekṣya mithyāvṛttaṃ ca rāvaṇam | vālinam ca hataṃ śrutvā sugrīvaṃ cābhiṣecitam || rājyaṃ prārthayamānaś ca buddhipūrvam ihāgataḥ | etāvat tu puraskṛtya yujyate tasya saṃgrahaḥ ||

เมื่อพิจารณาความมุ่งมั่นและความเพียรของท่าน และเห็นความประพฤติอันลวงของราวณะ อีกทั้งได้ยินข่าวการสิ้นของวาลินและพิธีราชาภิเษกของสุครีวะ—เขาจึงมาที่นี่ด้วยความรอบคอบ ปรารถนาส่วนในราชธรรมอันชอบธรรม เมื่อคำนึงถึงเหตุเพียงเท่านี้ ก็สมควรรับเขาไว้เป็นมิตรและร่วมพันธมิตร
