Homeward Blessings

सोऽपृच्छदभिवाद्यैनंभरद्वाजंतपोधनम् ।शृणोषिकच्चिद्भगवन्सुभिक्षानायमंपुरे ।।6.127.2।।कच्चित्सयुक्तोभरतोजीवन्त्यपि च मातरः ।

so 'pṛcchad abhivādyainaṃ bharadvājaṃ tapodhanam |

śṛṇoṣi kaccid bhagavan subhikṣānāmayam pure ||6.127.2||

kaccit sayukto bharato jīvanty api ca mātaraḥ |

ครั้นถวายบังคมพระภรทวาช ผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะแล้ว จึงทูลถามว่า “ข้าแต่ภควन् ท่านได้ยินหรือไม่ว่าในนครปราศจากทุพภิกขภัยและโรคาพาธ มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์? พระภรตทรงประกอบหน้าที่ตามธรรมโดยขยันขันแข็งหรือไม่? และพระมารดาทั้งหลายทรงดำรงอยู่โดยสวัสดีหรือ?”
