"No one can cross the ocean with Vanaras (help). As such I do not find anyone has the capacity. I am certain of victory."
The verse warns against false certainty: dharmic leadership requires accurate assessment and humility. Overconfidence blinds one to others’ merits and to divine or moral forces supporting dharma.
Rāvaṇa dismisses the possibility that Rāma’s allies can cross the ocean, concluding that his own victory is assured.
Negatively, it highlights the absence of विवेक (discernment) in Rāvaṇa—an ethical failing that drives the tragedy forward.
