Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance
पूर्वमापतितः क्रोधात्स त्वामाह्वयते युधि।निष्पत्य च निरस्तस्ते हन्यमानो दिशो गतः।।
pūrvam āpatitaḥ krodhāt sa tvām āhvayate yudhi |
niṣpatya ca nirastas te hanyamāno diśo gataḥ || 4.15.10 ||
ก่อนหน้านั้น เขาพุ่งเข้ามาด้วยโทสะและท้าทายท่านในศึก; ครั้นเขากระโจนออกมา ท่านก็โต้กลับจนเขาถูกขับไล่ และเมื่อถูกตีจนบอบช้ำ เขาก็หนีไปทุกทิศ
'Earlier, he (Sugriva) came and challenged you to a duel. You struck him in anger, and defeated, he fled, running in all directions. Now his challenge rouses my suspicion.
